Old stone cottages, located in the big garden near the family house, have been newly converted into completely independent apartments. The apartments can accommodate from 1 to 7 people. They are isolated units inside the big garden where our family lives and the AZIENDA AGRICOLA SOLIMAGO is located. The renovation has been done following the principles of eco-bio architecture, with organic materials as raw earth insulating plasters, chunky rafters, larch-wood and terracotta floors and energy saving tools, like radiant heating floors and lighting through tubular skylight. The furniture is a wise mix of old and new, where we used only healthy materials as wood, glass, natural latex, cotton, silk, feathers. The courtyard and the cottages stand at the base of the slopes of an old oak wood; not far from the vineyards where the Merlot and Cabernet and Tokay grapes ripen to give the delicious SOLIMAGO’s wine.
